BTMSEAL AA0106
BTMSEAL AA 0106 is solvent free low viscosity two component, transparent impregnation primer based on epoxy base (resin) and reactor (hardener). It is used specially as a primer to bind BTMSEAL products such as polyurathane and polyurea based rigidly to the substrate. Pack A & Pack B are pre-measured quantity of Resin and Hardener and need only mixing at site.

PLACES OF USE
BTMSEAL AA 0106 is used on block work, brick, rendering, stone, wood, concrete and mortar surface etc.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The entire surface area should be clean, dry, sound, and free from dirt, dust, grease, oils, waxes, mildew and any other surface contaminants that may adversely affect the performance of this coating material.
• Remove any loose scale, chalked, cracked or peeling paint from previously painted surfaces by hand scraping, sanding wire brushing and/or power tool cleaning, such as sandblasting.
• For metal roof surfaces, remove any loose rust, mill scale, rust deposits or white rust from metal surface by the same methods as described above. Cleaning with solvent or strong detergent is advisable to ensure surface is free from grease, oil etc. Do not allow the surface to re-oxidize before the application of BTMSEAL AA 0106.
• Repair using suitable cementitious or epoxy repair mortar any damaged and/or delaminated surface areas.
• Sand all rough paint edges smooth to adjacent surface area. Sand all glossy surfaces to effectively dull existing finish.
• Mortars and concrete should be fully cured i.e. at least 28 days at 25°C.
APPLICATION
Mixing:
Mix all of Pack A(Base) with all of Pack B (Hardener) for at least 3 minutes with slow speed hand drill. Pack A & B are pre-weighed and should be used in full quantity.
Application tools: Brush, roller or airless sprey
After the application all tools must be clean with suitable solvents.(such as toluen, epoxy thinner, cellulosic thinner and etc.)
CONSUMPTION
0,400 Kg/m² single coat (according to the surface)
PACKAGING
(A + B) = 12 + 6 = 18 Kg
STORAGE CONDITION AND SHELFLIFE
Store in dry conditions in original packaging at temperatures between +5°C and +30°C. Shelf life: 9 Months
WARNINGS
Avoid application in poorly ventilated areas.
May cause irritation in contact with skin.
Wear gloves to avoid direct contact.
Use protective glasses.
In case of contact with skin, wash with soap and rinse with water.
